Strategic mobility dashboard

Vision, support and operationalization of a mobility dashboard for a modal shift.

2020 - 2021

MORE LION played a key role in the development of Mobility in Liège Métropole, a digital platform designed to drive the modal shift and promote sustainable mobility across the region. As the first initiative of its kind in Wallonia, the platform centralizes mobility services, data, and tools to encourage users, businesses, and public entities to embrace inclusive and environmentally friendly transportation options.

Our contributions included:

  • Creating a vision for mobility data and a dashboard: We outlined how data can be leveraged to inform and inspire better mobility choices, ensuring accessibility and transparency for all stakeholders.

  • Designing tools to support the modal shift: These tools help users explore alternatives to single-occupancy car use, such as public transport, shared mobility, and active travel.

  • Writing the procurement specifications: We developed a detailed framework to ensure the selection of the best-suited technology and providers for the platform.

  • Guiding the implementation: We supported the award and realization of the platform, ensuring it met both technical and strategic objectives.

The platform features:

  • An inventory of mobility services to reduce reliance on single-occupancy vehicles.

  • Free, accessible mobility data to empower users and policymakers.

  • Decision-making tools to help individuals and businesses choose sustainable transport options.

  • Regional mobility news to keep stakeholders informed.

Through our expertise, we helped turn Mobility in Liège Métropole into a powerful tool for fostering sustainable, inclusive, and data-driven mobility in the Liège region.
